About Northwest.net

Two decades of building. Now we build with AI.

Don Alexander founded Silent Northwest LLC after nearly 20 years at the intersection of technology and infrastructure. The mission: bring discipline, rigor, and mission-first thinking to businesses and agencies that need it most.

The story

Where we come from

Don Alexander served in the US Navy. That service taught him something no business school does: that discipline and attention to detail aren't optional — they're what separates missions that succeed from ones that don't.

After two decades at the intersection of technology and infrastructure, Don founded Silent Northwest LLC in 2026, based in Arlington, Washington. The goal wasn't to build another web agency. It was to bring serious AI engineering to the businesses and government agencies that actually run communities.

Why AI consulting

Most AI tools are built for enterprise. The SMB and local government market — the businesses that actually run communities — is drowning in manual workflows that AI can handle in seconds. Nobody was building for them. We decided to.

We start with a free chatbot and a free site audit because barriers to entry are what keep small businesses from getting the tools they deserve. Once you see what AI can do for your workflow, the conversation gets more interesting.

How we work

What we stand for

Mission First
We build what solves the actual problem, not what looks good in a demo. Every engagement starts with understanding your workflow.
No Template Factories
Every engagement starts with understanding your workflow. We don't sell software. We build systems tailored to how you actually operate.
Built to Last
We deploy, train, monitor, and stick around. Vendor relationships that last, not one-and-done builds.
Veteran-Owned Business

Veteran-owned. Mission-driven.

Don Alexander served in the US Navy. That discipline — mission first, no shortcuts, attention to detail — is how we build. Silent Northwest LLC is a veteran-owned business based in Arlington, Washington. We're pursuing SDVOSB certification and government contract vehicles because we believe veteran-owned businesses should be at the table when agencies modernize.

SDVOSB certification in progress. We're targeting VETS 2 and GSA Schedule contract vehicles for eligible government engagements.
